Studying and promoting the antique textile heritage

"Villa Rosemaine " is for all the antique costumes and textiles fans of the eighteenth and nineteenth century period, located in Provence, France or worldwide. Textile addicted, collectors, artists, designers or simply curious, let yourself be seduced by the fascinating world of antique textiles, which are now considered as an "heritage" showing the fashion history, and cultural identities through the world.

Activities

"Villa Rosemaine" mainly offers events with exhibitions in relation with lectures, worshops and courses about antique textiles and costumes.

 

"Villa Rosemaine" gallery

"Villa Rosemaine" gallery has an area of 100 m2 for its ongoing activities and exhibitions. This gallery that spans four rooms in french "Hausmann" design, is under development. It must open its doors in the winter of 2010/2011.

Founders

Christine and  Serge Liagre, and Thierry Liagre Guien have accumulated since a long time, a large collection of antique costumes and textiles that were regularly exhibited with  "Rouge et jaune" based in Marseille (France).
